What a day! We surprised Hunter and celebrated his birthday 2 days early. Our reasoning was that the kids will be starting back to school on Wednesday after the observance of Labor Day and we wanted him to have a whole day devoted just to his birthday. Also we just love to surprise the kids! Hunter was thrilled to be woken up being sung "Happy Birthday!" to. He literally kind of shook his head as if to be certain he was really hearing the singing correctly.
Opening presents is always exciting, especially when you get your very first light saber to protect the home universe with!
Then there is the always exciting Trans-Formers! How did Grammie and Papa know that he loved those.
This cake was just perfect size for our group. We actually have a small piece left over that is just big enough for all the little ones to have a small piece for snack tomorrow.
Blowing out the candles! You only get to do this once a year! Well sometimes twice, thanks Parker, for the help!

Happy Birthday Hunter!!! I'm glad you posted this or I would have forgotten his day! I can't seem to remember anyone after Kaitlyn!? Glad he enjoied his big day!

Oops...missed this post. I am glad his birthday was great. It made me all sappy inside and brought back memories of him "back in the day" when things weren't so happy. Man...what a fighter he was! (probably still is..)
