Snow and more snow

What better way to spend a cold snowy evening than reading a good book. Jolie was particularly excited about getting this book from the school library. She has already fininshed reading 3 chapters.
Olivia couldn't pass up the opportunity to make sure everyone knew that she also is an avid reader. Yesterday was supposed to be the first get-together for the LandSharks running group after school but our snow situation has messed up the scheduling. Olivia was really looking forward to doing her laps around the field.
Here's my next "in progress" piece. I love the colors. Its so vibrant and the texture is great. So soft!
UPDATE: Just got back from driving Kristina and Josh to the bus stop and poor Josh fell down twice getting to my car. Kristina and I just watched in hushed awe as he slid his way to the car without lifting a foot to walk and then passed the car at a fair rate of speed. Eventually he made it into the car and we were on our way.
The roads are horribly icy. I'm thinking today should have been cancelled all together instead of the 2 hour delay they decided on for the schools. Thankfully it should be melted off by this afternoon. Then we get to do it all over again, tomorrow, when the next storm hits.
