I spent Easter Sunday rearranging a room and moving Hunter in with Parker. I finally figured out that no matter how I tried to keep these two apart in the early mornings they were going to find a sneaky way to play with each other. So why not just move the two together. With David digging in his heels and telling me all the reasons to not put them together, I went ahead and made the move a reality. So now they are playing quietly at 6 a.m. without waking us up.
Hunter and Parker now have a true bunkbed. They will be taking turns with who gets to sleep on top. Hunter's going first. I ended up deciding that they had more room for play if we had them in the front room (without a closet) so they now have a great view of Black Forest out of their window. Also this room stays a bit darker in the a.m.
With this move, Parker into Hunter's room, it has opened up Hunter's room to be a guest room. Pictures will follow in a few weeks after I get the border paper down and do a bit of painting. I was able to coordinate the moving of a king size bed up to our new guest room along with getting Kristina to put together the bedframe for that bed. Then with everyone's help we decorated and finished the transitions.
Dad and Parker finishing up on the decorating. Last picture to hang.
