A glass of vino a day keeps the doctor away.....

O.K. well perhaps that REALLY isn't the way the saying goes, but it works for now.

I prepared this little shabang! earlier today and Devonia just happened to have the grapes and cheese to dress it up. Bottle unopened, I took this picture at about 1 p.m. I guess, and waited patiently for the day to pass and the time to come for the great unveiling. Was I a little bored? Perhaps. Devonia was able to get a wonderful 3 hour nap in today. I! on the other hand worked dilligently on my sock.
Completing the sock while having "Pride and Prejudice" playing as my background noise. I decided to model the sock myself. I thought I'd be nice and save Devonia the indignity of having to model only one completed sock. Especially since I had made her hold it up earlier with a smile on her face for all to see.




Look at the picture closely..... Can you see it? The glass is full for the first time. Another sock is started and "Pride and Prejudice" is playing once again. I really do love that movie! (Thank you Bonnie for introducing me to it.) After I took this picture I worked a bit on the sock and decided that I'd really had enough of socks for the day. Grabbing my "new... in the works" purple sweater I started working on it again. I completed the back of the sweater the other night and have now started on the front left piece. Being extremely careful to follow the directions, which happen to be very confusing at this point, I eventually had an epiphany that drinking vino and knitting don't necessarily work well together. So I put the knitting aside and drank another glass of vino! You didn't really expect me to put the wine away did you?
