I wish I looked this good after surgery. I took this picture yesterday after arriving back at the house and getting Devonia situated. She was definitely a happy camper and feeling no pain. 
Today found us at Rockfish for lunch. Devonia had her appt at 3 so we went a bit late for lunch and took advantage of the locale of the dr's office and great food. We enjoyed our lunch out, but boy was it hot out today. Definitely not sweater weather, even though I had my sweater on! I guess I'll never learn to leave the sweater at the house.
I couldn't resist the call of the Red Crab Bisque! Fantastic soup and plenty to leave you feeling full and satisfied with the addition of a roll and a glass of Peach Tea. Totally yum!
Devonia's dr appt went just great today. The air conditioner was on the fritz at his office. She got an "adda girl" from the doctor and is to call tomorrow with the levels of the drains. I think she may get them out sooner rather than later. She's been a patient to be proud of!
Neither Devonia or I slept well last night. She was wired by the pain killers and I just had my usual insomnia. I hope to night will be better for both of us. :-)
