The countdown HAS started!, at least at our house. For the first time I think the boys truly get the excitement of the holidays. They are just as anxious for the cooking to start as they are getting to speak to Santa and Christmas morning. Baby Jesus' birth is a main topic of conversation and everyone points out Nativity's that are decorating the outside of homes we pass. I wish I had my nativity from years ago. Somewhere along the line it got lost or broken and though I look every year for a nice nativity I just haven't found one that I like that isn't just huge or ridiculously priced.
My new models! The boys just went nuts over these two hats. If the hats look big, thats due to the fact that they are meant for adults, not children. I started on the colorful hat last night and finished it this a.m. These are so easy to make and just fly by. If you don't use a pattern then they'd probably just take a couple of hours to do.
Kristina had a dance recital last night and this is one of the dances she performed in. Thankfully she is the only one wearing a scarf! About 3rd row back but that changes so keep looking! Enjoy!

Way to go Kristina! That is a big group. Thanks for pointing out her white scarf, it made it much easier to keep our eye on her. Enjoy the holidays - we look forward to keeping up with everything you are up to.
