Father's Day rituals, Resemblences, Tomato plant, Handwork and more...

Father's Day. Nothing like getting mobbed first thing in the a.m. with gifts and hugs.

Wish it happened everyday....
A Father's Day tradition but I'm the one benefiting from it. Thank you guys for all your hard work. The truck looks great! Check out the different colored bandanna's. We have Baby Blue, Green, Dark Purple and Lite Purple. Our wearer of Red (Jolie) wasn't up for participating as she had partied the previous night at a Birthday Sleep over and was a bit hung over due to lack of sleep.

Jessica and Josh.

Resemblances.

Well I'll let the pics do the talking. Half a continent away these two girls picked guys that really do favor each other without knowing it. wow. I wonder if their personalities are similar? I do know that they both love to cook.

Kaitlyn and Ivan.

Max checking out what this green thing is that we brought into HIS! territory... He finally decided that since it was edible......... IT can stay.
We went to the Farmer's Market Saturday a.m. and found this wonderful buy. 1 gallon "Sunny Tomato" plant with almost ripe cherry tomatoes for $4. The kids are already placing dibs on the various tomatoes for future snack times.
My "NUTKIN" sock at a different angle so that the pattern is easily seen. I was beginning to get frustrated with the pics not showing the pattern. You know I think this pattern is aptly named as I'm getting a bit nutty about it. I know of some other "nutty" individuals who might benefit from owning this particular pattern of sock. So if in the future you receive a pair from me........ Well........... I do love you.
My latest creation and Hunter was kind enough to model it for me. It is a delightful little bag that is plenty large enough to put a bottle of wine, small loaf of bread, cheese and some grapes in to go to a favorite picnic area, park, beach or mountain trail for some quiet time and just to enjoy the company. It has a drawstring top closeur and the handle I made at an angle to help distribute the weight (when fully packed) better. Its my own creation I don't have a pattern for it. I suspect that I'll need to figure it out though as I can see many uses for this style in many sizes.
Dinner for two............. only.
Since this doesn't happen.......... ever........., I felt it was picture worthy. If for no other reason than it will probably never happen again in my lifetime.
Barbecue Chicken quarters, Caesar Salad, and Sourdough Bread with a Glass of white wine for me and H2O for David.
It was good.....
This is how Kristina would spend every afternoon if given the choice. Just showered, head wrapped in towel, curled up on couch covered with holey afghan, reading a book. She can stay in this particular fashion for hours if left alone to just peruse the favorite book of the day. BUT! she doesn't like anyone knowing this.

Love the pictures! The guys definitely look like they could be twins!
Love the bag you made, too! Very handy.
Tell Kristina I'd spend my day, every day, the same way. =)
